Turn into the driveway below. OK to parking in any outer lot, anywhere except the garages.
If you can park near that driveway, walk up the stairs to the other side of the building. Proceed to the B43 lobby.
Please RSVP via Meetup to help IMUG and our Google hosts ensure enough seating, badges and other details. If you choose, Meetup will automatically send reminders at the beginning of the month and the day before the event, forward new message board activity, photos and more.
Admission:
Admission is free for IMUG members and Google staff, $5 for non-members. IMUG membership is $20 for the first year, $15 for renewals, or $100 for lifetime membership. Click here to join, renew or pay a single non-member event fee. Cash and checks also accepted at our events.
Parking:
You may park anywhere in the open lot around the building, but not in the garage.
Parking is free, there are plenty of spaces, and don't worry about any towing signs - you will be an official Google guest after you check in.
Ideas for getting there on-time and unstressed, and where to hang out afterwards
Carpools:
Many people carpool to IMUG events!
Post a comment on Meetup after you RSVP, or feel free to contact us and ask that we post a "seeking a carpool" message on our forums/lists/networks.
Try the Carticipate iPhone app or other carpooling/ridesharing apps. Stefan Frost, CEO of Carticipate, spoke about localizing Carticipate at the October 2009 IMUG meeting.
Mass transit, bicycling and walking:
The Valley Transit Authority offers bus and Paratransit options, including VTA Bus Route 40.
Use the Directions option in the Google Map for this location to get additional help getting there by public transit, bicycle or walking. »
Restaurants, cafés and pubs:
Our hosts usually provide great Google food and drinks for the pre-event networking time, but for a sit-down meal before or after the event try this link to search Google Maps for food near the Google Campus.
For a beer after the IMUG event, our Google hosts recommend the Sports Page ("a bit of a dive but a Google institution").
